Ian Askew
'The Boss'
Ian Askew is the mastermind behind White Glove Cleaning, a company that has been
turning chaos into cleanliness for over six years. Before Ian decided to swap supply chains
for scrubbing brushes, he spent his early career in wholesale and retail, coordinating the
ordering and movement of goods. But deep down, he knew his true calling was in a more
hands-on, people-focused industry. That’s when he decided to launch his own cleaning
business and make a difference—one spotless surface at a time!
What started as regular home cleaning has evolved into a specialist service that handles
end-of-tenancy clean ups and post-construction cleaning. Ian particularly enjoys the
technical side of these challenging jobs, whether it’s restoring a home to its former glory or
tackling the unique demands of construction dust. His passion for perfection (and maybe a
little obsession with grout lines) is what keeps clients coming back.
But there's more to Ian than a perfectly polished floor. When he’s not leading his team of
cleaning experts, he unwinds by assembling model tanks and aircraft—because nothing
says “relaxation” like meticulously painting tiny military vehicles! It’s a hobby that keeps his
hands busy and his mind sharp, though his colleagues might be surprised to learn that the
same man who can expertly clean a post-renovation disaster also enjoys recreating WWII
battle scenes in miniature.
With a keen eye for detail, a passion for helping others, and a sense of humour that’s just as
sharp as his squeegees, Ian is committed to delivering a cleaning service that goes above
and beyond—whether it’s your living room or a construction site.
